Soda Blast Stream Cleaner
Highly effective cleaning of components such as cylinder heads, turbochargers and diesel injection units is now available from a single piece of equipment which both cleans and blasts. Produced by Soda Blaster International B.V. of The Netherlands, the compact freestanding unit provides either high pressure washing with cleansing agents or wet soda blasting. Highly efficient cleansing is therefore provided as, after initial washing and inspection, encrusted deposits can be blasted away simply by changing to wet soda blasting virtually at the flick of a switch - all without the workpiece having to be removed from the unit. .

Soda is a blasting medium which offers significant advantages by being sufficiently abrasive for cleaning whilst, unlike other usual blasting media, it breaks down on impact and becomes little more than a fine powder. This in turn further assists the process as it is easily dissolved in subsequent washing. This removes the risks inherent with other media that even the tiniest amount may remain with the potential to inflict severe damage to an otherwise perfectly rebuilt engine.

The ability to be quickly changed from one cleaning media to another plus the re-cycling system for water and cleaning agents makes the system extremely efficient and economic in use whilst saving time in achieving the highest standard of results.
